I loved out of practice.And all I want to know is. Is out of practice coming for a second series this September.I really wish it will start again for a second one.Please bring it back.It was the best show ever shown on tv.

I just watched some online episodes of the show and I was amazed.It is truly the best adult comedy I have ever seen.I am in great favor of family friendly shows and while this series is not for children of any age it is a wonderful show for adults. I appreciate the strong connection and love this family shares throughout their seeming challenges and differences.The family is a wonderful role model in terms of staying together in this era of constant separation. The question remains how to save this wonderful show. With the recent save of Jericho it is clear that CBS is willing to listen to fans that petition hard enough. Jericho fans sent in nuts.What could fans send in to CBS. I know the show has been cancelled for a while but a petition is worth a try.

I can't believe that those morons at the CBS could've cancelled the show due to that crap 'Courting Alex'. And I've seen both shows. This really sucks!!!

i live in the UK and we have only had season 1 over here but on checking the website i find out its been cancelled. How can this be? Its the funniest show since Frasier. How can we lobby CBS to bring it back??

I fell in love with this show when I first saw it last month. I was sad when I couldn't find out anything about the future plans of the show. I really hope they plan to continue it and bring out some new seasons in the near future and beyond.

I just discovered this show and must say that it is truly fantastic! It really must be released on DVD in order to get more attention, also in Europe. I must say this is finally again a show which actually is hilarious! I just love "Out Of Practice"!

Absolutely brilliant acting and writing. Timing is perfect. So sad to hear it was cancelled and devastated that 8 shows were made but not shown. I am watching every night at present on UK TV, March 2007.

favorite episode was by far the thanksgiving episode. i can watch that over and over again! It's priceless.. we have to work together i've been missing this show so much! i need to see who's pregnant!!! ahha i can't find those videos on limewire

I just added 13 episodes of "Out of Practice" to limewire.com which is a free shared website. You download the basic version of limewire and then you can download FREE videos, music, programs, images, etc. And you can share whatever you want too. I CAN'T LET THIS SHOW GO. IT MUST BE SEEN BY ALL . . .

Any word about this being out on DVD. How do we watch the shows that never aired? what a crock

It was the Best comedy on any channel. It could take a lousy day and turn it into bursts of laughter. It would leave me smiling. we loved to go over the show next day in our office. The writing was exceptional. The situations most entertaining. The cast perfect. Most sit-coms are very predictable but not Out of Practice. This show is a must for the viewing public.

Had never heard of this show before visting LA in November 2005. Got tickets for my wife and I (just to see a show live) and loved it. Am pleased that it is now being aired in the UK on the 'LivingTV' channel. Shame its not on a more mainstream channel though, as the humour really appealed to us and I am sure would suit the british public. Hope it continues... and that we get to see more here !

I love this show so much. i've haven't seen a show this good since Popular. Its whitty & clever and really funny. CBS suck! its doing really well over here in the uk/ireland on livingtv. they're going to finish the whole series, CBS didn't even have the curtasy to do that. I have american tv networks, so many good shows have been canceld over the years while boring, predictable stuff is kept on the air! Removing this show from the line up is an injustice. This has the potential to be one of the top comedies of all time. I recorded every episode on DVR and watched them more than once, until my DVR crashed and had to be replaced.

it is really a very good show, would not have to remove it from the air. if somebody can help me, in the episode pilot at the end of the chapter, the brother of Ben presents a spectacular blonde to him, but I could not see the credits, know its name. thanks

Call me crazy but I haven't given up hope that "Oop" will return. I just can't imagine CBS letting one of the most wonderful comedy series ever, just go away. I can't . . . tear tear. Hopeful forever! Also, Stockard should have won the emmy...hands down.

I am really bummed out that the network has chosen not to have OOP on this fall. It is a great show and very enjoyable. I am not thrilled with the current fall lineup.

I loved this show! You brought it back for one show on Wendsday as promised, then dropped it again. When will CBS drop all those horrible CSI Shows and bring back some GOOD comedy with the return of Out of Practice as a regular weekly show at a regular time spot?

This was one of the best show to come out in years. What are they thinking? Given a chance, (a day and time that doesn't change for a few weeks) the following would be unbelieveable. Cast and writing were top notch. One of the few shows my husband and I both enjoyed. Very disappointing. Maybe they'll have a change of heart.

The sad fact is that CBS would rather air cheaply made pap than something that actually contains wry wit and humor. I watched as many episodes of OOP as possible, which wasn't easy as they kept switching it around, and then pre-empting it for other things. My gut instinct is that with that many high-calber actors involved, some bean counter decided there would be too many high salaries to pay. I wonder if there were enough episodes made to release it on DVD? I'd buy it an a heartbeat!!!

Protesting at CBS "Early Show"

I was thinking about having a protest outside of the CBS "The Early Show" in New York City (where I live) because CBS is on the ground level and they are visible to passersby through a huge glass window, so they can see us too. What crap, how can the best comedy I have seen in years be cancelled. CBS gave Raymond 2 years to get off the ground whats up with that. Im sorry but this really sucks. When is the DVD coming out, so at least I will have a copy of a show that is worth watching.

If the show is doing bad on CBS (which I doubt) then y not just put it on another channel? Put it on...idk...LOGO, they don't have enough sitcoms, to many filler shows, it could do good on that channel. I am so angry with CBS that I wrote them a complaint about not having "Out of Practice" on the air and how they have been jerking the show around and not giving it a chance. And that I believe it is one of the best comedies I've ever seen (except for "I Love Lucy)! Well, I told them that and I meant it, that I won't be watching ANY CBS shows until its return on a regular schedule for a whole season, and if it does not return than I'm never going to watch CBS again (not that they will care but hopefully they will)...

What happened? I read that they are pulling the show, but then I went to CBS website and it said OoP would "return at a later date" what's that mean? What's going on, my day was all good till that happened. I luv that show, and you know what they say, the show must go on.

SUBJECT:FAVORITE OOP CHARACTER Lydia is my favorite character on the show. She's halarious and like i said before her facial expressions are funny! But without her family she would have no reason to make those expressions. Her family is funny too. Keep up the great work Lydia!

Out Of Practice is such a cool show! I Love Stockard Channing's facial expressions they're so funny. I can't wait to see tonight's new episode it's at 8 PM. I'm so glad OOP is coming back! I can't wait to see Marion Ross on the show tonight she was great in Happy Days and i think it's a real reunion for Henry Winkler (aka The Fonz) and her.

I really enjoyed the jokes on this show... The way things are in the world today, we need more comedies like this that show the funny side of life! The cast is extremely talented, and the writers need to give them great scripts to work with!

Out of Practice...brilliantly funny! The episode where Stewart is trying to dodge his girlfriend for the evening and she thinks he is proposing is HYSTERICAL! I work in the Medical/Nursing field and needless to say...we have a very different humor level. To see this on a sitcom is so refreshing. The family dynamics is right on the money. I have been sweating bullets that this show was cancelled. It was the reason I watched Monday Night television. I am so excited that it coming back on and will support it where ever it is aired. I was very excited to see a commercial on the return of "OOP" today. It said March 22nd, which is a Wednesday but there didn't say the time yet. The new episode looks so funny! I can't wait.

I am SO glad to hear Out of Practice is coming back soon. I am a doctor, and I never thought I would be posting on a web site to say "bring back this show" with such enthusiasm, but my Monday nights have not been the same since the last episode aired! I did a web search just to find out what has happened to it - nice web site ... I like it! Message to CBS: Bring back Out of Practice and don't take another hiatus ... all of the actors (and the characters they play with amazing realism) are outstanding.

I hardly get attached to tv shows because of my busy schedule. However, I saw the previews to "Out of Practice" and was so excited about getting into a really funny show and knowing their on-air schedule. Since it first aired, I did not miss an episode. I have tried to find it every Monday night since its last episode and have been extremely disappointed to see it has been replaced by a show that does not compare. I had finally got excited about TV and after a few weeks, I am back disappointed again. Please bring this show back!!!

Just keep looking for the show. Didn't think I would like it but once I watched it I was hooked. Loved the daughter and the whole cast. Please take courting alex off and put out of practice back on. If you do, I will love you for ever.

I go to the "Out of Practice" website on cbs.com everyday to see if it lists the next episode, but everyday I’m disappointed with CBS. I sent a few complaints to CBS asking when will they put it back on. At first I didn't know much about the show “oop” except that the woman from “Hidden something” was going to be in it. I didn’t know her name but I thought she was great and when I finally discover that show, they took it off. So, I was ready for this show (set the DVD recorder) even though I didn’t know that much about it. My instincts were right on, it blow me away. I couldn’t wait for Monday to come (how many people can say that!). Well, I don’t watch TV after 9:30 pm on Monday at lest not until it’s return. I can't say anything good or bad about "Courting Alex" because I haven't watched it but I just don't have any interest in seeing it and because it took the place of my "oop" I must say, it doesn’t give me any incentive to want to watch it either. Million/10

I am suffering "Out of Practice" withdrawal. If CBS doesn't bring this show back, I am through with network TV. Since "Frasier" went off the air, this show and "Two and a Half Men" are about the only ones I can tolerate.

Out of Practice is an excellent show and was my number one comedy from the first show. The cast has a wonderful rapport and the directors and writers have the characters aced. An excellent show and I am missing it on Monday nights. When is this No. 1 show returning to the networks? Courting Alex is a cute comedy but does not reach the high standards of Out of Practice. I love this show, and am really disappointed they stopped it for Elfman! I watched 1/2 of the first Elfman, and totally think it's lame, and besides, it screwed up my Monday evenings. I LOVE OoP, and want it back!!!

I love this show, it totally rox!! Stockard Channing is brilliant, and Paula Marshall is one of the best actresses I've ever seen. Henry Winkler and Stockard Channing really click and help take the show to it's fullest potential. This show is great, it flows, and it has a certain kick. It is not any ordinary sitcom. When I first heard about it, I expected some corny, boring sitcom, but it is really one of a kind.I really hope it comes back soon cuz that new show "Courting Alex" is stupid, really dull. I really enjoy Out of Practice, I hope it hasn't been cancelled. I did like the new show on tonight, it was good to see Dharma on TV again, but it wasn't near as good as Out of Practice!

i think that Out Of Practice is one of the best shows on CBS, and one of the best shows aired on television right now. The entire cast is outstanding. It is funny, intelligent, witty, and not vulgar like many other shows. I look foward to seeing it again soon, but i am a little upset "Courting Alex" is putting our show on hiatus. It's a different concept, unlike Courting Alex that can be confused with Emily's Reasons Why Not. I hope to see this wonderful show again in the near future.

Well, I LOVE the lesbian character. She's not a stereotype but she's also not some super-glam porn-fantasy lesbian. Best of all, she is not one of those neutered lesbians we usually see on network TV -- she actually expresses an interest in other women -- shocking! The cast is great, the writing is sharp, so tell me, why did "How I met your mother" get all the attention this year while "Out of Practice" went under everyone's radar????

Great show...except for the lesbian character. She doesn't seem happy in her situation and is too much on the defensive all the time...to the point where she becomes offensive.

Love the show. I would just die to know where to find a pattern for the sweater Regina (Paula Marshall) was wearing on the "Thanks" episode (bodice and ribbing - so cute!). I am a knitter and have been scouring the web for both a photo of a scene where she is wearing it and for a reference somewhere to a pattern I could use to knit it! But, alas... Anyone?

Great show. My local newspaper wrote a review on the show that was pretty positive so I gave it a chance. I was happy I did. I've had to track down some friends that TIVO'ed the first few episodes because I missed them. Definitely go watch those if you have not. I plan on sticking with this show for a long time.

Good right? My wife talked me into watching this show after my rebuttals for a few weeks. Finally I gave it a shot and i'm quite taken with the cast. Being that my family is full of doctors, it really strikes home. The writing is pretty decent, but the jokes could use a little bit of work. The timing is there and the cast is perfect, so the key compenents are present to have a great show. I could see this show going on for awhile. It looks cheasy on the outside but once you watch it is very enjoyable. I recommend it.

Sleeper hit! People need to start tuning in so this show gets a second season. It is pretty darn funny.

I've been watching this show from the start and have fallen in love. This is the only sitcom on tv that I watch besides Arrested Development. So take my opinion for what it is.

Like most people mentioned, I expected a run-of-the-mill sitcom with halfway decent one liners. But as it turns out, this comedy has some real bite to it..enough to keep me tuning in. Great chemistry between the actors is enough to make a show good, but coupled with great directing and a show can be GREAT like this one.

Let me be upfront here. I am a huge fan of Kelsey Grammar and considering he is the brilliant mind behind "Out of Practice", I might be a little biased. That being said, this show is superb in every minute detail. Casting was done to perfection which creates a 'real' show not a sitcom where you can just tell people are throwing up bad one-liners. Perhaps the success boils down to Grammar behind the scenes and Henry Winkler and Stockard Channing in them. Those two are a great duo and will most likely propel this show to a full season of great laughs. I just hope the ratings pick up some so the network doesn't put the kabash on the show. So cross your fingers while watching the show people.

I was at the first ever taping of this show. I have been a tv buff for years and I usually know a good show when I see one. This is one of them. To start off, I didn't want to go to the taping but a friend talked me into. I expected yet another sitcom that licked, but was pleasantly suprised. The writing is very solid and ought to carry this show to a second season.
